The three Green MEP candidates for Ireland will be travelling to Brussels tomorrow to participate in the official launch of the European Greens’ EU-wide campaign for the forthcoming elections. The launch will take place during a special Congress in the European Parliament on Friday and Saturday.

Senator Deirdre de Burca (Dublin), Senator Dan Boyle (South) and Steven Agnew (Northern Ireland) will join up to 1,000 people from across Europe, who are expected to attend the Congress.

The Congress will be streamed online at http://www.europeangreens.eu/ and will feature the adoption of a joint manifesto, nomination of campaign leaders – including Senator De Burca, and the performance of the winning entry to the “Greenvision 2009″ song contest.
