De Burca welcomes grants for North Dublin community centres
Green Party Senator and European Candidate, Deirdre De Burca, has welcomed the news that two North Dublin Community Centres – Outhouse Community Resource Centre and the Mid-Sutton Community Centre – will each receive a grant worth €42,000.

The Community Halls and Facilities Strand of the Programme under which these projects were selected aims to support community facilities around Ireland by increasing the number of hours they are available to the public, improving their upkeep and ensuring that other services are delivered more effectively using existing community premises.
Senator De Burca welcomed the grants saying, “The Community Services Programme provides funding to groups that supply services to their local communities. Importantly the Programme also provides employment opportunities for the vulnerable in society including people with disabilities, long-term unemployed, travellers, lone parents and rehabilitated drug users.
